I recently completed a MASK workshop with seniors from the Active Seniors organization in Largo, Maryland. They created one of a kind plaster masks and designed it themselves. Their finished pieces were AMAZING, and it is safe to say they had fun doing it!

"A Walk in their Shoes" written and illustrated by me, Fatmata Koroma. A great way to teach children about diversity, acceptance, and tolerance. Follow Alima, as she travels to Japan, Spain, and Africa to learn more about her peers. Children can relate to Alima and will be drawn by the illustrations, parents will love the positive message the book sends.
